My BISP experience was incredible, and it helped me grow personally and professionally to reach important milestones in my young career. As a climate leader and advocate for social and economic development, I participated in two research projects with renowned faculty at UC Berkeley, and I had the opportunity to implement these research projects to my home country, Honduras. Despite the changes due to the pandemic, the BISP program made me feel as part of the Berkeley community, and I have kept in touch with many of the friends that I met through the program.
